Welcome to Ponderosa Park
Prescott's Special Place in the Pines
Ponderosa Park is a subdivision located about 5 miles South of Prescott, AZ
off of Rt. 89 in the Prescott National Forest. The park was homesteaded in
1884 and currently contains about 300 homes. The homes vary in design
from primative to palacial with many traditional log cabins. The subdivision
measures 1/2 mile by 1/2 mile and is located in a valley split by Indian Creek.
The elevation of the Park varies based on location but is about 1 mile high.
The community has its own water company with shared wells. There is a
picnic area in the Park for all to share. The Park gets its name from the
Ponderosa Pines in the National Forest.
